Movie rental company Blockbuster says the risk that it may not complete financing deals raises “substantial doubt” about its ability to continue as a going concern. Turner-owned TruTV has signed on as a promotional partner for a pair of upcoming theatricals from Universal Pictures: the Russell Crowe-driven “State of Play” and “Land of the Lost,” which stars Will Ferrell. The deal involves TruTV running 90-second sneak peaks of “State of Play” this Sunday as well as two weeks of custom promos for “Land of the Lost,” beginning in May. Variety (4/6)
