Free unlimited music for more than a year seemed like a good proposition, but, nine months after its launch, Nokia’s Comes With Music bundle is not proving particularly popular with consumers. Showtimecontinues to turn to digital platforms to promote its premium programming, this time with a YouTube video quote game in support of the new season of Californication. Utilizing YouTube new video annotation feature, Fill in the Hank asks users to finish David Duchovny’s disillusioned sentences. A similar game launched for Dexter has racked up over 700k views.
This just goes to show how far simplicity can go in creating something fun and engaging. Start with a good concept and then build upon that.

Since its price reduction last month, the PlayStation 3 has been selling well, but many of its users apparently have yet to experience the device’s ability to play Blu-ray movies. A study from NPD Group suggests that about a third of PS3 owners — 34% of them — have not played a Blu-ray movie on the system, while 58% of respondents said they bought a PS3 to play games on it.
