30-year NFL broadcaster and Hall of Fame coach, John Madden announced his retirement from broadcasting. Madden has been the game analyst for NBC Sunday Night Football since 2006 and according to B&C, Cris Collinsworth will immediately step into Madden’s place in the booth working alongside Al Michaels. (Cynopsis 4/17)

I tried to find the scariest picture I could find of him and I think this one wins.  Speaking of winning, Madden’s winning percentage continues to be the best of any head coach in the NFL’s history.

The latest figures from Nielsen show that 3.2% of U.S. households — 3.6 million of them — remain totally unprepared for the switch to all-digital TV signals on June 12, which represents a slight improvement over data released earlier this month. While the Providence, R.I.-New Bedford, Mass., and Hartford-New Haven, Conn., TV markets lead the country in DTV readiness, according to Nielsen, Albuquerque-Santa Fe, N.M., and Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, are the worst. Ask people what their favorite website is, and increasingly you’ll hear Hulu <!—->class=”snap_preview_icon”> (at least in the US). The NBC and Fox-backed online video service just kicks ass when it comes to content, interface and overall execution. Two recently filed patent applications suggest that Apple may include features that incorporate motion and gesture user interfaces as well as videoconferencing in upcoming versions of the iPhone. However, given the advanced nature of the features and the time it would take to develop them, they may not make it to the market for some time, if at all, according to this report. CNET (4/16)
