A U.S. District judge in San Francisco will hear arguments in the MPAA’s lawsuit against RealNetworks‘ RealDVD software this week in a case that could determine whether consumers get to legally copy movie discs. The RealDVD software, which enables users to copy DVDs to a computer hard drive, came under fire from the Hollywood industry group, which said it bypasses DVD copy protection and violates the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Harking back to its heyday, ABC made a deal to bring back Who Wants to be a Millionaire? for a limited two-week stint this summer, in honor of the show’s 10th anniversary. Regis Philbin will also return as host for the 11-night run beginning August 9. The one-hour show will air Sunday-Thursday at 8p, ending on August 23.
