SONY’S CES KEYNOTE: THE TOM HANKS SHOW
This morning, Sir Howard Stringer, Chairman and CEO of Sony, presented his keynote to the hungry CES crowd. But before he presented the new toys for ’09, Tom Hanks introduced him and brought some serious laughs to the crowd. Ah, sarcasm. How I do miss New York…
After that, here were the highlights:
- In the prototype phase comes a pair of 3D glasses that allow the viewer to watch in 3D while still be able to see the environment around them. Seriously dorky looking.
- G3 Wi-Fi camera with web-browsing capabilities
- Connected alarm clock which allows users to personalize their alarm clock experience with information from online sources. Open source so developers can innovate on the platform.
- Flexible OLED Screen
