Internet-TV provider Babelgum has begun sending video content to Italian users of selected smartphones under a new Vodafone service that will come to the U.K. today and other countries — including the U.S. — down the road, Babelgum said. Vodafone subscribers will incur no further data charges for the content if they own an iPhone 3G, Nokia N95 or 6210 for the service, which is expected to ultimately turn into a service supported by advertising.
