Out-of-home television service Gas Station TV announced it is has now installed screens in 1,000 gas stations across the U.S. covering more than 100 DMAs including 22 of the top 25 television markets. (Cynopsis 12/9)

Philips‘ new ultralight Essence TV now is available in the U.K. The model, which weighs in at just over 35 pounds, comes with a so-called “smart” leveling bracket and, according to the company, is ideal for wall mounting. Pocket-lint.co.uk (12/8)
