Atlas Sound says it can attract buyers who enjoy the outdoors with its new Strategy Series Rock speaker, a weather-resistant product that looks like a rock parked in the yard. The company did not disclose a price for the ROCKFA62T-BR, which contains a 32-watt 100-volt transformer and an Atlas FA136 driver. ElectronicHouse.com (9/9)
Gyration says it has come up with a universal remote that can also control a Media Center music library and allow users to look at iTunes and Windows Music Player through a backlit LCD rather than having to turn on a TV or PC. The Gyration Air Music Remote, priced at $180, also eliminates the need for a mouse: Gyration said that “natural hand movements” can control the on-screen cursor. ElectronicHouse.com (9/9)
