Sackboy plays the lead role in Sony’s latest title, “LittleBigPlanet,” a game the company hopes will stimulate PS3 sales with its release this fall. Early reviews are good, and critics say Sackboy could be a star in the burgeoning first-party market. Advertising Age (8/11)
Warner Music boss Edgar Bronfman Jr. is threatening to stop issuing song licenses for video games, like Activision’s “Guitar Hero” and MTV’s “Rock Band,” if the current revenue-sharing model doesn’t improve.
