Verizon Wireless is in talks to acquire Alltel Corp., according to the WSJ, a $27 billion deal that would make it the nation’s largest wireless carrier. Verizon looked at acquiring Alltel last year then walked away when reports of the merger drove the price up. (Cynopsis 6/5)
Hot off the travel-related press, is news that Jet Blue’s in-flight Wi-Fi service has added support for checking more e-mail accounts than just Yahoo!
