Nintendo has officially introduced at U.S. retailers the latest in its wildly successful Wii franchise — the “Wii Fit,” a game that combines exercise with the latest in motion-controlled gaming. Hours after Electronic Arts extended its $25.74-a-share offer for Take-Two Interactive to June 16, Take-Two Chairman Strauss Zelnick said it had begun a “process” of engaging in “formal discussions” with “interested parties.” EA said the extension was aimed at allowing the Federal Trade Commission time to review the deal for antitrust implications.
