Families owning a Nintendo Wii gaming system might have to make room for mom, now that the company is releasing its new “Balance Board” add-on, an interactive exercise mat aimed at women that allows users to play fitness games, while also tracking data on their weight and body mass index. Nintendo of America‘s executive vice president of sales and marketing, Cammie Dunaway, in a Q-and-A, explains the company’s marketing strategy for the new device. Sony is delaying the release of PlayStation Home once again, the 3D real-time community built for PS3 consoles. This time they’re saying it will be ready in fall of 2008. (Cynopsis 4/23)
