Samsung said it would begin offering PC drives for reading and writing in Blu-ray format later this year. Drives will also be able to read HD DVD, but not write in it. (Pocket-lint.co.uk 4/15)
Besides familiar components like alarms and remote controls, iPod docks will be standard features on two new HD radios. The iLive IS808B and rival iLuv i169 are tabletop players due out in the next couple of months at $149 and $169 respectively. (TWICE 4/15)
The Lui PC and media server from NEC can record and stream high-definition content to televisions and computers and provides a wireless Windows connection for handhelds.
