The “LaserVue” HD set that Mitsubishi demonstrated in prototype form in January will roll out in stores in the fall, the company said, although it added that it would not release pricing and spec details until June. The first laser-powered televisions, which will likely be a higher-end item, were designed to give viewers greater levels of contrast, black and color saturation compared with comparably sized plasma and LCD models.
