ONLINE SITE OF THE WEEK: NETDISASTERS
One fine Saturday, my brother, the comedian, sent me the above visual. Funny guy. Click on the above image to get a fully animated disaster of sorts. It’s all fun and games until I forget to send him his birthday present. . .
Anyways, the above was created by a site called Netdisasters which allows users to create a variety of web disasters of their choosing including the above cow dung and my personal favorite below: Led Zeppelin.
I have decided to carry the Netdisasters mantra with me and review the most overrated web sites from time to time throwing a ‘disaster’ their way. Clean-up. Aisle 7. Clean-up.
To start off the tradition, I reached out to Time Magazine which is rating the top blogs as well as the most overrated sites as well. On their list of overrated blogs is my most hated site of all time: Icanhascheezburger.com This site allows users to upload pictures of their cats with funny captions attached. One of the top 10 highest trafficked blogs. Not kidding. Not even a little bit. What the @#@#$^*? In my homage to the insanity that is, I sent a little Led Zeppelin their way.
Strangely, I feel almost a tad better.
