Uncle Walt thinks a 3G iPhone will arrive within the next 60 days.Walt Mossberg, the legendary technology columnist for The Wall Street Journal, made the prediction during an executive summit held by Beet.tv last week. LG is expected to unveil a new series of handsets under its Black Label series April 24. The latest handset in the series, which already includes the LG Chocolate and LG Shine, will feature smart technology and a 5-megapixel camera, according to the company. (Pocket-lint.co.uk 4/7)
Verizon Wireless and AT&T provided some details how they will be utilizing their newly purchased 700 MHz spectrum. Verizon said 3 year + plans are underway to fulfill open-platform conditions and connect a range of digital devices through a faster nationwide “4G” broadband network including media players, gaming consoles and home appliances.
