ESPN has reached a new deal with Verizon Wireless to debut a mobile simulcast of ESPN Radio on Verizon’s V-CAST Mobile TV. The agreement allows listeners to access ESPN Radio’s sports programs via their mobile phones. (Radio Online 3/28)
MTV has struck a deal with mywaves to distribute the cable net’s ad-supported content on cell phones for free. Mywaves, which features music and video from around world, has about 2 million unique users each month in the U.S., according to its CEO, Rajeev Raman. (Mediaweek 3/31)
