The principals behind Harmonix, the studio acquired by Viacom in 2006, are in line to collect over $200 million if profits from the popular new “Rock Band” video game hit certain performance targets by the end of 2008. “Dexter,” the Showtime series about a serial killer, is being developed into a video game for home consoles. Marc Ecko Entertainment will develop the game, and the cable network will serve as an adviser to ensure that it stays true to the TV show, which has a strong following among young adults who love video games.
