THE COOLEST TECHNOLOGY IN VEGAS: OHMIBOD
While in Vegas, the coolest technology I saw in a week-long assault of cool gadgets wasn’t actually at CES. The number one cool gadget award goes to a piece of technology I saw while walking the floor at the Adult Video Expo. Founder Suki Durham worked at Apple for eight years before leaving to start, OhMiBod, her audio vibrator company.
The OhMiBod vibrator plugs into an iPod through the headphone jack and vibrates in sync with the beat and rhythm of the music. The company also presented a line of vibrators color-matched to the latest iPod Nanos. If that wasn’t cool enough, we had the pleasure of testing out the iPhone model. I plugged the OhMiBod into my iPhone and received a call. The OhMiBod vibrates at the sound of my friend’s voice. He talks. It vibrates. Very nice.
