Google is offering a new YouTube video overlay on top of its Google Earth three-dimensional visualization software, which combines satellite images, maps, terrain and buildings of the world. Zomba Recording is filing a federal lawsuit charging Mario Lavandeira, the proprietor of PerezHilton.com, with violating copyrights by posting recordings from Britney Spears’ upcoming album, “Blackout.” The album’s release date was moved up because of the Internet leaks. Current TV, the Al Gore-backed television network, is gearing up for a relaunch of its Web site. The new Current.com will “take interactivity to a new level,” promises Gore. The domain name Wallstreet.com is expected to fetch $10 million in an auction Friday. Auctioneer Moniker.com expects heavy bidding. The market for domain names is still healthy, analysts say, although search engines now make them less important than content in attracting customers.
