Consumer adoption of high-definition DVDs is moving slower than the industry has anticipated, according to Philip Consumer Electronics chief executive Rudy Provoost, who also says more studio releases are necessary for the format to truly catch on with home audiences. Kodak has unveiled several new products, including three high-definition digital cameras. Besides the cameras, which range from eight to 12 megapixels, Kodak also released a new HD dock for viewing photos on HDTVs and a high-resolution photo frame. (TWICE 8/30)
