Video game developer Vivendi Games has set a 2008 release date for its Bourne Conspiracy gaming title. The project, which began in 2005, will borrow elements from the trilogy, while also adding new elements to the story line of Jason Bourne. (CNET/Reuters 8/8)

Microsoft has announced that it will add HDMI ports to its Xbox 360 Premium game systems. The ports are already available on Xbox 360 Elites. (INQUIRER (U.K.), the 8/9) 

Circuit City will help launch the Madden NFL 08 video game with a live online event Wednesday. The game goes on sale the previous day. Attendees will be able to interact with quarterback Vince Young, this year’s Madden cover model. (TWICE 8/8)
